GRAY SPACE THINKING BOOTCAMP

Let’s face it, it’s tough being a leader, especially in our current society. Many of our teachers and students face significant trauma due to the pandemic alone. Teachers have put their hands up and are asking that administrators refrain from adding one more thing to their plates, even if it is the thing(s) necessary to progress. Studies show that leaders do their best work when they take care of themselves and have a healthy work and home-life balance. There are ways to keep centered and endure, but it takes intentional work. Gray Space Thinking Bootcamp will give you the tools to begin to mind your mind, your heart and ignite innovation. We will focus on the necessary changes you have planned for your teams, how to think in “Gray Spaces”, and take care of yourself, so the good and important work can continue.

Session Breakdown:

  1. Addressing the Trauma of Leading
  2. Mindfulness and Grounding Techniques for Hard Workers
  3. Endurance for Hard Workers
  4. Review, Challenge, and Revise Systems stuck in tradition
  5. Engage in “out of the box” strategies to ignite innovation

TRANSFORMATIONAL MINDSET BOOTCAMP

“A transformative mindset doesn’t define the destination and then hurry toward it. A transformative mindset builds skills, flexibility, and agility – encouraging failure along the way – to pivot at any moment.” ~ Chang Ho

Regardless of your industry or the current challenges your organization faces, you, your clients, and the people who make up your organization have vastly and permanently shifted the way they act — and your organization must shift too if it wants to thrive. The secret is to transform the way you transform – and it all starts with the mindset. Underpinning a transformational mindset comes from shifting to human-centered principles. It is the ability to reimagine the way we operate around human characteristics when we consider understanding from a place of empathy and emotions, our drive to connect, collaborate and socialize.

Session Breakdown:

  1. Build your skills as a change agent
  2. Cultivating a Growth Mindset
  3. Identifying hidden talent and hidden leadership
  4. Ignite personal and professional confidence

COACH 'EM UP OR COACH 'EM OUT EQUITY IN EDUCATION

One of the hardest jobs of a school administrator is having the responsibility of coaching educators up or out of your building. Learn how to sharpen your skills as an instructional leader by knowing when and how to coach an educator up or out. Do you know what to look for and how? Engage in role-play, scenarios and hear real experiences where it was most appropriate to defend the profession by coaching an educator out. Our strategies will help you organize regular classroom visits in order to gain a full picture of whether or not an educator’s performance can turn around or is more harmful to the academic atmosphere.

Session Breakdown:

  1. Assess current evaluation tools for educators (formative and summative)
  2. Identify Multi-Cultural and Gender Fair (MCGF) within curriculum and classroom environments
  3. Identify strategies to provide feedback to teachers throughout the school year
  4. Identify warning signs for bias, insubordination, and or harmful behavior
  5. Identify strategies to identify the difference between Skill and Will
  6. Identify ways to coach out staff while treating them with dignity
